Foyle Food Bank

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we work to provide nutritionally balanced emergency food and household packs and support to those living in the Derry/Londonderry area who are referred to us in crisis.
Foyle Food Bank
Alongside a range of support services to help address the crisis facing that individual.

We are part of a nationwide network of Foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger. Our foodbank is a project founded by local people with the support of many Businesses and with the ongoing support of APEX.

Foyle Foodbank as part of The Trussell Trust network has received funding under their Pathfinder Project to provide greater support to people in the Foyle area.

We do this by finding out the crisis that is affecting the person and or the need for food support. We are then able to provide wrap around support both from our own services and by working with a wide range of partnerships across the City. This can be benefits advice, support with PIP applications and appeals, specialist debt advice, social supermarket projects, money management, counselling, nutrition and cooking classes, health and wellbeing programmes, housing, addiction support services etc..
