A new national programme is set to formally recognise the skills of people who go above and beyond through volunteering.

Winners of the annual Good for Me Good for FE Awards, which recognise exceptional contributions to volunteering and fundraising, were announced today at a special ceremony in the House of Lords.

24 exceptional teams and individuals from colleges across the country have been announced as finalists in the Good for Me Good for FE Awards 2025 awards.

Good for Me Good for FE (GfMGfFE), the national initiative promoting social action in colleges, is launching a volunteering microcredential programme for students. 

The second annual Good for Me Good for FE Awards has taken place at the House of Lords, celebrating the extraordinary achievements of staff and students from Further Education (FE) colleges across the UK.
