As set out in our project plan, each workshop involved hands-on elements and experiences using advanced engineering equipment, helping to build and improve student’s skills, aspirations and knowledge of engineering.
Staff volunteered their time in designing and delivering this project, which included outreach to local schools. Grant fund enabled us to deliver 8 immersive, 2-day engineering workshops for secondary school students.
We reached 55 students to date with 2 additional workshops planned for end of June with LCA and 14+ Academy
