The UEFA U19s tournament is being held in Northern Ireland this July and I have volunteered to help in matches regarding mascots and half time matches for young girls in football.
In addition to that, the IFA have asked me to conduct informal interviews with young volunteers for various positions during match days. I work very closely with the Irish Football Association and have a great working rapport with them, paid and as a volunteer. It’s vitally important to be a role model for my students as a volunteer, especially for females looking to pursue a career within the sporting industry.
