South Eastern Regional College’s (SERC) Students’ Union have launched a new scheme to provide free period products for students. The ‘Period Confidence’ project, funded through the Department for the Economy in NI (DfE), will make a range of free sanitary products available across all SERC Campuses, ensuring that no student is disadvantaged because they cannot access period care.

The main purpose of youth social action is to empower young people to make a positive
difference to others or the environment. A great example of supporting the local
community members is through setting up a foodbank drive.

Vocational Studies students were proud to represent Stamford College and the wider Inspire Education Group (IEG) in supporting the recent Stamford Town Council tree planting project at Stamford Cemetery.
