NWRC Safeguarding Team promoted Mental Health awareness week from 13th May – 19th May by developing a schedule of events which ran across all campuses throughout the week.

The UEFA U19s tournament is being held in Northern Ireland this July and I have volunteered to help in matches regarding mascots and half time matches for young girls in football.

Newark Santa Dash fun run raises over £1,000 for Children’s Bereavement centre

It was the first event of its kind in the town centre, managing to raise over £1,000 for the charity and all dashers had three chances to win an amazing prize.

The first was a present grab from the Newark Round Table Sleigh in St Marks Place, where Santa handed out a wrapped present with three boxes containing a golden ticket to win a supermarket voucher.

Newham College has developed a partnership with Community Food Enterprise (CFE) 

registered charity Community Food Enterprise that is rooted in East London led by CEO Eric Samuel MBE. Founded in 2002, the CFE mission works to alleviate food poverty as well as develop a viable and sustainable food business that will provide training, capacity building, and employment opportunities for residents of East London.
